---Reward Distribution 

Digital rewards of Volume 1,2 and the wallpaper have been distributed! 

Be sure to check your email and backerkit for those download links! Other rewards are currently in production and we predict they should be all mailing out by the beginning of September. So stay tuned!

As more people have read/purchased Volume 1 and 2, we are still, as always, looking for feedback.

---1/8 Scale Freya Box Preview

As production winds down, we are happy to reveal the official box for our scale figure! 

For those interested in picking her up, she is still available in the backerkit store as well as on our website: Novelhorizons.com

The figure inside in the video is our cast master(Hence the white and red) which is also inside of the planned blister packaging. The box itself features multiple good inlays as expected of a product related to "Gold Prominence" and the author signature is currently planned to be on either one of the sides or the back. (Suggestions welcome!) 

---Art Preview

As bunny girls were promised, bunny girls we will deliver. 

Volume 3 is currently on track to be the "spiciest" volume to date with illustrations to boot. Although as readers will learn, "spicy" has two different meanings so don't be deceived by these art previews!

The two newest employee's at Madam's "Crystal Wing Casino". Beautiful, talented, but deadly. Why are they working for Madam? And why is Freya on stage? Find out only in Volume 3! 

---Seventh Star Theme?

We have successfully produced a series theme for "Seventh Star"! 

This composition is the first step we are taking in moving towards making a full trailer and our audiobook for Seventh Star! We also hope it helps bring some more clarity to our vision for the series.

---Conclusion

That does it for todays update! There is alot of stuff happening behind the scenes but despite a few delays, things are progressing smoothly!

Backerkit Order Locking soon + New previews! And an Audiobook!?

Hello everyone! 

This update is to let everyone know we will be locking orders to begin ordering merchandise soon! 

Once this happens, backers won't be able to alter their orders and all cards will be charged! 

---Unfinished surveys

We still have about 15% of the backerkit surveys unfinished, be sure to go and complete those as soon as you can since when we order our inventory, it's those numbers that we will be using. 

Without the survey, we also won't have any way to send you your pledges (No address and what not). So if you haven't be sure to get those done! 

---Scale Figure Update

The Freya 1/8 Scale figure has entered it's final stages of production!

Since then, and after changing the base to a marble floor, there has been a few changes made both to the product itself and our "authentication" method.

First though, we'd like to show the blister packaging we will be using!

For those interested in the production process, fine-tuning the blister packaging is an integral part of making sure the product reaches its intended destination intact. Even if the outer box itself is damaged due to being poorly handled. In this case, due to the relative simplicity of Freya, we are using a clam-shell sandwich-style blister packaging with her base located behind her leg. This is to hopefully help absorb any impact that may snap the leg/distribute force over more surface area.

And for anyone curious about the figure inside the blister, that is the "Gold" Master, which is what will be used to product the other figures. 

The Box carrying this figure has also received a minor overhaul. Various elements have been sharpened, some clutter removed and overall, it's been optimized further then it's original iteration. The window which stretched to the top has also been lowered so it only includes the front-facing panel. We've also added "Limited Edition" indicators. 

Like before, all "Gold" on the box will be gold foiled. (Border, words, star, Silhouette, etc.) 

---Wallscroll art

The Wallscroll art has been meticulously worked on for quite a while now and they are just about done! 

Wolf Girl Freya has been fully rendered and backers can acquire her in the form of our Wallscroll, but not only that, but we have also released a 11x17 poster option and 4x6 postcard option featuring not just this artwork but we have also made those options available for the Fox Girl Iris!

We hope everyone likes how these are turning out! 

---Free Goods 

After various discussions and feedback from customers, we've decided that the free digital wallpaper and postcard released will feature the "Bunny Girl Freya and Iris" Artwork. Since the only other method to have this art is through the playmat, that ended up being a determining factor as one of our goals this time around, is to offer more accessibility to the promotional artwork we release.

---Full-Cast AudioBook

Due to the success of Seventh Star, we are heavily considering doing a full-cast audiobook! This means that unlike normal audiobooks where only the narrator speaks,  in the one we are planning,  each character will have their own unique voice (including the narrator). 

This is obviously a huge undertaking, but one we think would be worth doing if there is enough interest and would most likely require it's own kickstarter due to the scale of the project.

For the Audiobook, we plan on hiring professional Voice Talent, many of which fans of Anime might be familiar with if they watch dub. We have already reached out to a few who are interested in this project, so we are only 1 step from hitting the gas on launching the project.

Possible rewards for that kickstarter (pending negotiations and approval from the VO's) could include signed Seventh Star merchandise.

---Cookies? 

A random idea we've considered is making cookies! Specifically, cookies with Seventh Star Images printed on white frosting. 

In the past, we pursued custom chocolates, but that ended up being a fruitless endeavor with too many hurtles to overcome.

These cookies would be sold at conventions and could be collected or just eaten. There isn't a terrible amount of thought in the idea, other then being wacky and unique (First LN with cookies?).

---Next Scale Figure 

 With the surveys from backerkit coming in,  we've looked at the desire for a "Bunny Girl" Scale figure and have gotten over 50% interest in the concept! With "Iris Electra" just BARELY beating out "Freya Stryker" for most requested. Because of this, our next figure following the Gold Prominence Scale figure is going to be a "Bunny GIrl Iris Electra" Scale figure, based on the Acrylic Standee! 

We are expecting to design her with real fishnet stockings and perhaps some LED effects(For lightning) as we work to step up our Scale Figure game.

Our only question ends up being what scale people would like her. 

Traditionally Bunny Girls are made in 1/4, but as Iris is 6ft tall, that would make her figure 1.5 feet tall!! Which is absolutely massive. So, we are considering perhaps 1/6, or even 1/8 scale. Although that ultimately will be decided by you all and what you all think.  Although keep in mind, the size will determine the pricing. (Bigger is more expensive to make after all).

---Conclusion

We have a lot of questions we'd like our backers to answer in this update and boy is it a long read!

Production is continuing steadily on the third installment of Seventh Star and we hope everyone is excited to read the continuation to this series!

This includes the pre-order store and surveys have all been sent out! 

There was a small technical error regarding accepting paypal payments earlier, but those errors have been fixed!

We've introduced a slew of new items for this backerkit! 

This includes the legacy Volume 1 and 2 posters featuring:

On top of that, we are offering the Wallscroll artwork in the form of 4x6 inch postcards, for those who want to have the artwork, but not want to spend the 40$ USD on the wallscroll. 

This same method was used for the Limited Edition Standee's as we created the sticker series to go with them as a more budget friendly option.

---Wolf Girl Freya In-progress

For those interested, the Wolf Girl Freya Wallscroll has entered the color blocking stage! 

We went with a brown, earthy color for her outfit to contrast with her usual golden appendence! 

---Conclusion

With the backerkit now live, the last major event for this project, barring shipping, has officially launched! This is an exciting time and we are eager to see how people react to the new items we are offering. We plan on using what we learn from this backerkit to determine what goods will stay or go moving forward.

We are also hoping to finish Volume 3 ahead of our original schedule due to a "second wind" from both the author and Artist. So, that is something to look forward too!

Hello everyone! 

We would like to thank you all for your patience and we are happy to announce that Backerkit surveys will be coming soon within the next 2 days!

The backerkit add-on's will include various limited edition goods AND our new "Boss Bunny" Madam standee!

Our Bunny Girl standee's will also be available as stickers! And our wallscroll artwork will also be made available in the form of 4x6 postcards on the backerkit! 

--Figure Changes

After some deep deliberation, we made a small change to our scale Freya Figure and that is that we modified the base she stood on. Originally it was rocks, but after some discussion, it just didn't feel right with the pose, so we changed it to cracked battlefield floor. 

---Future Figures! 

We are releasing a question in the backerkit for our next figure. Although, rather then a normal figure, we are thinking of developing a 1/4 scale "Bunny Girl" Figure! 

While pricier and more work to develop, we think it'd be a fun next step for us to pursue moving forward. Currently, we plan on having that figure designed with actual fishnets, so it should be an exciting time all around.

---Cardboard cut-outs

We previously announced that we would be making lifesize cardboard cut-outs out of some of our characters. Namely "Freya". After that announcement, some backers reached out interested in purchasing these life-size cutouts, so we are interested to know how much interest there would be in selling these as another form of limited item. 

Keep in mind that Freya's cut-out is roughly 6ft 3inches tall and if we turned "Boss Bunny" Madam into one, she'd sit at 7ft 2 inches tall. So these are not small. 

Their size is also why they would not be a very cheap item either, falling in the 300$+ Range. (They are very expensive to produce at their life-size). 

---Conclusion

Work is continuing on various parts of the project and we believe people are going to really enjoy this next installment of Seventh Star.

Hello everyone! 

We are happy to announce that the Seventh Star:Volume 3 Kickstarter has now reached its conclusion! And what a conclusion it was! 

For starters, Seventh Star Volume 3 has successfully broken our "Most Backers per campaign" record of 412 by reaching 419! It isn't a huge margin, but it is still a major moment! 

Even more impressive though is that this campaign has absolutely overtaken our previous "most funded" campaign record of 14,837$ with a staggering 22,782$!! That is more than 50% over the previous record! 

We would like to congratulate all backers for achieving these two major milestones as this now makes "Seventh Star Volume 3" the third most highest funded Light Novel on Kickstarter!  Unfortunately, we fell behind the #2 spot by about 200$, but we are certain we will get it next time!

---Unlocked Stretch Goals: 

With a successful campaign, comes successful Stretch Goals. The first is a digital wallpaper for all backers! What this wallpaper will be exactly, we are thinking of bringing up to vote. Options include the Campaign banners bunny-Girl image, but something new may be more fun. Although whether it'll be "ecchi" or "serious" is something we'd definitely need to hear from backers about. 

The second is a FREE postcard with all physical rewards! This postcard may be the same as the digital wallpaper, but again, it will be up to vote/backer feedback as to what exactly it'll end up being. 

---Backerkit

 We used backerkit for the first time on the volume 2 campaign and frankly, it made things ALOT easier for us in all aspects. Because of that, we are going to be once against using Backerkit, so be sure to fill out the necessary information when it arrives to you by email! 

Aside from the rewards on this campaign, the backerkit is going to include some fun backerkit rewards which are listed down below: 

Exclusive Acrylic Standees(19.99): Bunny Girl Freya, Bunny Girl Iris, Boss Bunny Madam

Backerkit will open in TWO weeks from this update, which is when all backers will receive emails so they can finalize their addresses as well as put additional goods into their order! This is a necessary step so that we can get you your rewards as quickly as possible! 

The Backerkit will also include any Limited rewards that are made available due to their respective backers having their pledges dropped by errored payment. This includes items such as our Scale Figure and the Limited Edition Volume 3 hardcover. So for anyone who missed out, there is still a chance!

---Errored Backers

Be sure to check your pledges to make sure your payment hasn't errored! If it has, be sure to update your cards within the next 10 days so that your pledge isn't dropped/forfeit.

---Misc

We are thinking of making a life-size Gold Prominence Cutout for Conventions. This is a somewhat random idea we've come up with that we think would be fun to have for appearances at events. Let us know what you think about this! (Gold Prominence stands at 6ft without heels, so her cut-out would be roughly 6ft 5inches due to the heels she wears). If received well, we'd also add Iris at a later time.

This time around, we are giving ourselves some extra time for development (4 months instead of our usual 3) so we can properly account for holidays and give necessary rest to the author and artist as necessary. This is mainly due to Seventh Star being on a constant release schedule so we don't want to wear out the team too much.
