Seventh Star: Volume 3

Final 72 hours! New goodies!

Hello everyone! 

We are entering the final three days of this amazing campaign and to commemorate that, we are going to be revealing some new rewards we are releasing and bringing back! 

Keep in mind, that since we will most likely be using Backerkit, these will be Add-on's in the backerkit store rather then add-on's here in the kickstarter. 

---Bunny Standee Series -

For Backers from the previous campaign, you may be familiar with the "Bunny Girl" Series of Acrylic Standee's that we released in the Volume 2 Backerkit. These featured Iris and Freya in bunny suits and after an enormous amount of demand, we have decided to bring back both of these girls for another round for the Volume 3 backerkit. 

BUT that's not all. 

For Volume 3, we are adding a NEW girl to the line-up, which is going to be none other then "Boss Bunny" Madam herself! 

The Pleiades will be making an appearance in the series in a one-of-a-kind bunny suit that sets her apart from the other bunnies and makes it obvious to see that she is in fact the Big Boss. 

So be sure to keep an eye out for that reveal! 

Bunny Girl series Standee's will be available for 19.99 on backerkit after this campaign ends.  

---Re-run modifications - 

The original run of the bunny girls had a bit of a sizing issue due to the length of their bunny ears throwing off their intended heights. With the re-run, we will be adjusting these numbers so that Bunny Girl Freya stands as tall as she's supposed too and so that bunny Girl Iris isn't as massive by comparison. 

---NEW

For the first time ever, we are happy to announce we are going to be offering stickers! It isn't a revolutionary concept by any means, but it's something we haven't made before so it's still pretty exciting. 

These stickers will currently only be for the Bunny Girl Series, for those who want to be able to show off their Bunny Goods more! They will be available starting at 4.99 a sticker(since we plan on making them decently sized). 

As development continues on this, we will post new updates and eventually previews! 

---Figure Additional goodies

We are going to once again continue pushing for more figure sales for the kickstarter and are now offering the Seventh Star Bookmark set featuring Daedalus, Freya, and Iris for FREE with all purchases. That means the Figure tier now consists of the Figure and the additional complementary goodies: The Volume 3 Softcover + E-book, and the Seventh Star bookmark set! 

These bonuses unfortunately won't transfer over to the backerkit(Since there is no system there to support it). So if you've been on the edge, be sure to pick her up! 

---Conclusion

We hope everyone is excited as work continues on Seventh Star volume 3 and we are grateful for everyone support thus far! It blows us away how much everyone is loving Seventh Star so far and we hope we can continue to not just meet but exceed everyone's expectations as we move from volume 3 to 4, 5 and more!

Campaign Last 7 days! Stretch goals, Limited Count boost, and more!

Hello everyone! 

As we reach the last week of our campaign, after much deliberation and discussion, we've decided to implement some change/updates including a few new goodies that we want to try out!

---Limited Edition Copy

For a majority of this campaign, our Limited Edition book has been sold out in it's base tier(Non-Prestige) and is also now sold out in it's Prestige tier. With that in mind as well as the feedback from various supporters, we are increasing our production from 25 to 30 units that way the number of fans that can get these limited rewards is more proportional to our current reader base.

These 5 extra units will be distributed with 3 going into the base tier, and 2 into the Prestige tier. Which is where it will stay for the remainder of this campaign. 

---Stretch Goals 

We received various ideas from backers on what to make as stretch goals. 

The ones we find the most do-able and likely though are postcards, digital wallpapers and a "Seventh Star" Artbook. 

In the past we offered additional illustrations as a stretch goal, but that becomes less viable due to us not wanting to overcrowd the book with too many illustrations. Currently, we aim for 8-10 per volume, which is about how many we think we can put in before it getting too disruptive to the overall reading experience. 

With that in mind though, these are some light stretch goals: 

18,000 USD - Free Seventh Star Digital wallpaper for all backers! 

20,000 USD - Free Seventh Star Postcard for all Physical reward backers! 

25,000 USD - Official Seventh Star Artbook development(The Making of Seventh Star). Which will feature artwork developmental stages, notes/commentary from the authors, artist, and art director. This one is somewhat tentative as we haven't dove into the world of "art books" yet,  but we don't expect it to be terribly difficult to do. The final product would most likely be hardcover as well since it fits the artbook theme better.

---Art Previews 

We have a few new fun art previews to show off for this update as well! 

The first is one that we updated on the campaign page but didn't properly introduce in an update. That preview is the Fox Girl Iris wallscroll art! We decided to take it a step further as well and make her a nine-tailed fox.

The next preview is for our much anticipated cover, which has entered the color blocking stage! 

There are very few characters designed to be as visibly charming as Madam or as innately imposing. Now with the addition and reveal of the tattoo on her back, we hope readers will be interested and curious as to the background regarding this mysterious character!

---Conclusion 

As we enter the final stretch of the campaign, we are excited to see so much support for the continuation of "Seventh Star". We also hope that everyone likes all the art previews so far! We are hard at work on various parts of the project so as things start wrapping up be sure to keep an eye on new progress updates!

100% Funded in 7 days! Goal Get! Art Preview

Hello everyone! 

We are excited to announce that we have no officially hit our funding goal! 

Not only that, but by reaching our funding goal, we have broken our previous funding record set by Seventh Star Volume 2! None of this would be possible without the continued help from our backers and we are thankful for everyone's continued support for this series! 

With our main goal out of the way, we want to aim toward reaching 20,000$, although our ultimate goal is to eventually reach a funding of at least 26,000$! The reason for this is because currently on kickstarter, the record for most funded Light Novel sits at 25,900$. 

Call us ambitious, but Novel Horizons wants to aim to break that record to make not only company history, but also Kickstarter history! It's a daunting goal, but with the continued assistance of our readers, we think it is definitely an attainable feat!

---Stretch Goal's 

Historically, we've been rather bad at naming stretch goals since we usually go into campaigns with a one track mindset regarding the funding of a book. This continues to be the case, so we would definitely be interested in hearing what backers would like to see as stretch goals. 

---Wallscroll preview: Freya Stryker! 

To commemorate this fantastic achievement, we will now unveil the preview for the Freya Stryker Wolf-Girl Wallscroll! (Ecchi Content Warning)

Rather then put her into a wolf costume, we decided it'd be more fun to have her be an actual wolf-girl. And with a little bit of modification, we managed to capture a certain calm, but still wild side of the calm Gold prominence! 

This wallscroll is currently planned to be about 16 inches wide and 28 inches long. Although that may change slightly depending on various circumstances. BUT if we can sell enough of these wall scrolls, we may be able to UPGRADE these 16 inch wide wall scrolls to 32 INCHES wide for FREE. If the community wants.

It's definitely a big size jump, but it's something definitely on the table. At the same time, we know some backers may not be able to accommodate such a large wallscroll, which is why we want to be VERY careful in implementing this size change. If backers don't particularly care for the size-up, then we will leave it as is, since as the saying goes "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". 

---Scale Figure Additions

Aside from reaching a record-breaking funding total, we also want to sell-out of our Limited Edition Scale Figures of "Freya Stryker" or at least get close.  

We understand that the price point is high, but since we are producing so few, we unfortunately can't lower the price point for them due to how much it costs us to make them in the first place. Which is why we opened this campaign by offering a free copy of Volume 3 softcover +E-book with the tier. 

Even with that, solo figure sales have been dubious at best, so we are debating on adding more free additions to the tier since while the price-point can't be changed, we can at least try to offer more value in the form of other goods.

Currently, we are thinking of adding the Seventh Star 3-bookmark set to the tier for free to incentivize more people to pick it up. But, we are open for more ideas! So be sure to let us know!

---Conclusion 

As we conclude this update, we would like to once again express our gratitude and thanks to all the backers who have made this projects continuation possible! None of this would have been possible without your support and trust in our brand! As we continued forward this campaign, we hope to break more records and milestones!

24hr update: 70%!? An amazing start, Livestream event, and more!

Hello Everyone! 

We are excited to announce that within 24hr's we've managed to obliterate our previous day 1 records by hitting an unimaginable 70% of our funding goal! That's over 10,000$ which demolishes our previous day 1 record by over 3000$! And this wouldn't be possible without all of you and your continued support! 

--Livestream event

To commemorate this huge milestone, we are going to be hosting a Livestream event on tuesday May 24 at 11am CDT (Central time) with not just the series author but also Seventh Star Illustrator "Tony Guisado"! 

He will be working on the cover of Seventh Star Volume 3 during the stream and answering the occasional question through writing while the author will answer any questions you may have for him!

--limited edition addendum 

The Limited Edition series was conceived in the past to offer collectible goods to our biggest fans. Made in proportion to our audience size at the time. As our readers have grown, we've noticed that the limited goods we sell has flown off the shelf faster and faster.

Because of this, we've gotten requests to increase the number of our limited editions.

This isn't something we had planned because we feel it diminishes the collectibility and exclusivity of the product. The reward of being able to get one of the few elusive copies, but enough people have asked that we are posing this question to our community. 

"Should we increase our Limited Edition books from 25 to 30?"

---Conclusion

We are glad that support remains strong for Seventh Star and that fans are enjoying the series as it continues. As it stands, over 90% of our backers are returning from the previous campaign! Which is a good sign that the series rightfully deserves it's title as our #1 series. At the same time, we want to see more new faces join in on Seventh Star so we can continue expanding not just the product line, but offer perhaps even audiobooks and other fun additions to the series line-up, so be sure to help us spread the word so we can get more eyes and support for this project!
